Westminster sailing team is excited to announce a new Westminster Racing Team sponsored opportunity, to develop foundational sailboat racing skills.
Saturday Spring Development Sailing – March 22nd – April 26thth from 10AM – 4PM at Coconut Grove Sailing Club.
This programming is custom made and offered to our new racing team sailors, to teach the the fundamentals of sailboat racing and how to steer, crew, and race college and high school 420 sailboats in a development setting (as opposed to the fast pace of our Tue and Thurs racing practices). We need more skippers on our team and this will be a great place to learn how to further manage and race a 420 sailboat.
As you know, Joe Logan has an incredible history of teaching youth sailboat racing and has coached multiple HS national championship teams, guiding new and expert sailors to success racing in HS, college, and well beyond. He is excited to be the the head coach for these development sessions, and we are lucky to have him at the helm of our team.
