The Sailing Rules are a very important thing to know, and can be found in pages 5-25 of the World Sailing – Racing Rules of Sailing. Read it all, and pay particular attention to the Part 2 – When Boats Meet, pages 14-20.
Your coaches can help explain any situations you may or may not understand, so be sure to ask questions.
